Hide and Seek
You won’t find Christ in doctrines
And your Dogmas are no use
Love may be found within you
By Spirit this is true
You can never know from outside
For all experience is within
Be still and know I’m with you
Through all your thick and thin
Now you can tell of Jesus
How he did this and that
But if you don’t find The Christ within
You’ve missed the boat old chap
You won’t find The Christ in doctrines
And your Dogmas are no use
Be still and come and seek me
I’m waiting here for you
Do you think that I’m a mystery?
That I’m apart from love?
Foolish minds are worldly
But I’m of the above
On the day you surely find me
My presence you will know
You’ll know the joy of being
And with my love you’ll glow
That day you’re reconciled with all
Whatever is their state
For in Spirit there is only love
Yet this world but separates.
